Mixed-gender portfolio teams produce better returns - Citywire

Rising numbers of portfolio teams in Sweden and Denmark are now composed of both women and men -- a development which could prove profitable for investors. However, the Swedes are now gender-mixing their portfolio teams at a much faster rate than their neighbours in Denmark.

Gender-mixed portfolio teams tend to generate more alpha than single-gender teams -- or teams run solely by a man or a woman, for that matter.

The mixed teams produce three-year returns that are 4.3 percent higher than the returns of female-only teams, and outperform male-only teams by 0.5 percent, according to Citywire.
