Healthcare specialist sees bigger picture in new global equity role

Having covered the healthcare sector for several years, Søren Poulsen recently made the leap to co-managing a global equity portfolio at Denmark's Bankinvest.

Bankinvest offers an equity strategy called Basic Global Equities. One of the strategy's five portfolio managers is Søren Poulsen, who until May was sector specialist at the Danish bank-owned asset manager, covering the healthcare sector.

AMWatch caught up with him at Bankinvest's domicile in Copenhagen to a discussion about the differences between covering the healthcare sector and investing in the equity market as a whole.
