Former Novo Nordisk manager urges CEOs to speed up SDG progress

It has been more than 1,000 days since UN's 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) were adopted. The clock is ticking, and companies, institutional investors and top executives must accelerate the pace of progress, says Lise Kingo, CEO of UN Global Compact.

"I'm a business woman," says Lise Kingo in the interview, to emphasise that her message is directed at top executives.

The former Novo Nordisk executive has dedicated her career to meshing business operations and bottom lines with a concept that can be referred to as "the greater good" -- the survival of the planet, better lives for people with few resources, equality and so on.
