Norwegian sovereign wealth fund names new CIO

Folketrygfondet has appointed Kjetil Houg as new Chief Investment Officer, responsible for the EUR 25.2 billion Government Pension Fund Norway that mostly invests in Norwegian assets. The domestic-focused sovereign wealth fund has, however, around 15 percent allocated across other Nordic countries.

Nasdaq reports record year in Europe

In 2021, the number of new equity listings on the Nasdaq exchange in Copenhagen broke the old record set in 2007, and in Stockholm, the exchange recorded its highest-ever number of new listings. Nasdaq also had increasing trading volumes last year.
