Lundbeck Foundation lures Danske Capital hedge fund manager

Danish charity foundation Lundbeck Fonden, is expanding its investment team and has hired a former hedge fund manager from Danske Bank to head up the department.

The investment team at Lundbeck Fonden will have a new department head in place by July 1st. Peter Rothausen is joining the Danish foundation from Danske Bank, where he has been chief portfolio manager at Danske Capital Long-Short Dynamic Hedge Funds since 2016. Before that he was lead manager and senior portfolio manager also at Danske Capital.

Rothausen will broadly be in charge of all of Lundbeck Fonden’s assets except its venture and strategic investments. This amounts to EUR 1.9 million divided between equities, fixed income, real estate and forestry.
