Just as the investors in the Nordic region, Japan-based investors are seeking alternative asset classes in order to meet their return targets.
In 2019, two-thirds of Japan-based investors allocate assets to at least one alternative asset class, ranging from almost six out of 10 that invest in private equity to a third that invest in hedge funds, writes investment data provider Preqin in a press release on its new investor outlook report.
