Swedish state pension fund strikes three-year deal with PE manager

Private markets manager Hamilton Lane aims to invest EUR 1.3bn in private equity for Swedish state pension buffer fund.

One of Sweden's state pension funds – AP1 – has decided to let a private markets manager Hamilton Lane from Philadelphia  invest up to EUR 1.3bn of its funds in private equity. According to news site IPE, the investment deal with Hamilton Lane is to run over the next three years.

AP1 said it was planning to boost its overall private equity exposure across its investment portfolio.
