The millennial generation is behind surge in impact investments

A new global study estimates the global impact investment market to be worth almost half a trillion euros. Previous estimates have been been much lower, but a surge in demand from millennials seems to be behind the strong growth of this market.

The global impact investment market is worth almost half a trillion euros, reports Financial Times quoting the hitherto most comprehensive study of this fast-growing asset management field.

According to the new analysis published Monday, the size of the market is EUR 447bn, twice the sum of previous valuation estimates of assets dedicated to impact investments.
