Fly-in, fly-out: A weekly routine for Robeco's Nordic director

Robeco's Nordic Director Stefan Laszlo travels to Scandinavia on a weekly basis, meeting clients of the EUR 165 billion Dutch asset manager. This "fly-in, fly-out" approach has benefits when targeting money management for institutional investors, he claims.

In a clash with the approach of several other asset managers, Rotterdam-based Robeco's Nordic growth strategy does not involve a local office managed by a Dane or a Swede.

Instead it is Stefan Laszlo, alongside his colleague Bas Eestermans, who manages the firm's relationship with Nordic clients, hence their matching titles of "Director Institutional Relations Nordics".
