The Danish financial scene is set for the debut this week of two new types of alternative investment fund: an alternative investment fund with variable capital -- a so-called AIF Sicav Fund, and an alternative value fund -- an AIF Securities Fund.
As opposed to existing Danish capital associations (Kapitalforeninger), the new alternative investment funds are not restricted in the type of financial instruments they may invest in.
