AP7 hires two managers for green impact active equities

An Irish and a British manager have been appointed to manage two "green impact mandates" worth SEK 3 billion (EUR 29.3 million) by Swedish national pension fund AP7.

AP7 has picked Irish asset manager KBI Global Investors and the British manager Impax Asset Management to manage the pension fund's new "green impact mandate".

The two green mandates will have to invest in companies that contribute to solutions to climate- and enviromental problems, AP7 writes on its website.
