Why Rothausen left Danske Capital for Lundbeck Foundation

Peter Rothausen started his new job as Chief Investment Director at Danish industrial foundation Lundbeck Foundation on 1st May — waving goodbye to Danske Capital after four years as first Lead Manager and then Chief Portfolio Manager at the firm's Long/Short Dynamic Hedge Fund.

Denmark's Lundbeck Foundation is greeting a newcomer to its investment team, as 45-year old Peter Rothausen takes over responsibility for investments at the industrial foundation from CFO Bertil From, who still will be an integral part of the investment team.

In his new job, Rothausen has approximately DKK 13 billion (EUR 1.8 billion) to manage and has taken over a portfolio that is spread over multiple asset classes including equity, real estate, private equity, credit and forestry. Long-only is the key process — quite different from his former job at Danske Capital.
