AP1 and BlackRock coinitiates EM Impact Fund

Swedish pensionfund AP1 has asked BlackRock to create a new emerging markets equity fond that takes sustainability and impact into consideration.

AP1 has requested BlackRock to tailormake an emerging market equity fond in order to be able to invest in Emerging Markets in a sustainable way.

AP1 has already put € 83,5 million into the fund, according to IPE and is planning to put more into the fund over time. The fund is a ucits fund and hence open to other investors and is registered for sale in Sweden, Finland, Denmark and the Netherlands.
