Hermes tweaks climate vocabulary to grab clients' attention

It’s easier to advise institutional investors on engagement matters if you speak about the issues in a language they can understand, Hermes Investment Management's Head of Sustainable Investing tells AMWatch. Hermes has EUR 384 billion of assets under advice.

Words -- as well as action -- are important for UK-based Hermes Investment Management (Hermes), which actively manages EUR 38 billion of assets and has EUR 384 billion of assets from other institutional investors under advice.

The firm's business is built on two services -- asset management, and helping institutional investors with responsibility-related matters such as engagement, screening and voting.
