Sweden dominates green bond market in the Nordics. But Denmark grew the most in 2017

Having been among the first in the world to issue green bonds back in 2017 the Nordic countries are maintaining a presence in the top 20 of green bond issuing nations new report shows. A significant achievement green bond thought leader says.

The green bond market continues to grow and an important player in the issuance of green bonds over the past 7 years has been countries in the Nordic region a new report commissioned by Swedien's Handelsbanken and made by The Climate Bonds Initiative shows.

The report gives a solid overview of the Nordic regions green bond market and also analyses in depth issuer type, financed sectors and countries.
