Pensam director quits after a year
Benny Buchardt Andersen, who has been part of Pensam's two-man executive management team for a year, is leaving his position at the end of September, Pensam announces. According to the pension fund's statement, he is resigning in order to seek out new challenges.
New Project Manager at SEB Asset management
Johnni Ulrich Jacobsen left Skandia Asset Management on August 1 to take up a position as project manager at SEB Asset Management. He will be in charge of a broad range of projects within the asset management unit, according to the bank, such as asset management sales, private banking, and investment management. SEB says: "The projects include, among other things, setting up investment solutions for external customers, implementation of existing and upcoming legislation, securing internal processes in that context, and securing and perfect business processes and workflow." In his new job, Jacobsen will also be involved with SEB's ethical investment policy and its development in collaboration with other SEB units, the bank says.
New CIO appointed at Accunia
Mads Romild, 40, has been appointed as CIO of Accunia, moving to the new role from an internal position. He has been CIO at Accunia for the past seven years. As CIO, Romild is responsible for investment strategy, management of the Accunia European Investment Grade CLO fund, the Accunia European Opportunity CLO Fund, and chairman of the Accunia platform's investment committee. He holds a MSc Econ from Copenhagen Business School.
Top Icelandic pension fund CEO resigns
Ingi Björnsson, chief executive of Stapi Pension Fund in Iceland, has asked to resign from the fund. Björnsson is staying on in his job until a successor has been found, the company says in a press release.
PKH finds new CIO...
Norwegian pension fund PKH announces it has found a new chief investment officer -- Jens Kristian Bøe. He is taking up his position on August 21, and was previously a portfolio manager at Oslo Pensjonsforsikring.
…and a new CRO/CCO
PKH has also appointed Johann Despriée as chief risk officer/chief compliance officer (CRO/CCO), the company says in an announcement. He was previously a partner and chief executive of Lillevold & Partners. He has 20 years of experience in the business field of life and pensions, inter alia as an actuary at Norsk Hydros pension fund. Despriée takes office at the turn of the year.
