Experienced number cruncher shifts pension firm's approach to risk

It wasn't long after the announcement of Charlotte Strunk Hansen's departure from Danske Bank Wealth Management that she had Anders Stensbøl Christiansen, chief investment officer of Danish pension firm Velliv, on the phone.

Hansen's career, beyond working for Danske's WM unit, includes several other positions in, for instance, a quantitative hedge fund and US investment bank JP Morgan. She has now served as the pension group's head of portfolio construction and investment risk since early September 2020.
