After 13 years at Danish financial firm Alm. Brand, Michael Friis Jørgensen quit his job as the Chief Equity Analyst to instead take on the role of head of equities at the newly established HC Andersen Capital, according to Danish newspaper Børsen.

"At HC Andersen Capital, my new colleagues and I will try to be the solution for the existing problem that many listed companies outside of OMX C25 are struggling to get their equity stories across, especially to private investors, who are increasingly gaining influence on the Danish stock market, but lack information. For this reason, a lot of the transactions on the Danish stock exchange mainly just involve major well-known shares," he tells the newspaper.

HC Andersen Capital was founded this year and the founding director Tue Østergaard has formerly been an equity analyst and managing partner at ABG Sundal Collier. It offers investor relations services for small cap companies, and performs stock analyses.
