Morten Kongshaug brings useful knowledge and experience from a long career at Denmark's major financial firms into his new business as an investment strategy provider. But he is surprised how many practical things he needs to do as self-employed.

In his new life as self-employed, Morten Kongshaug had thought that he would have more time to immerse himself, as he would not have to partake in internal meetings and handle all the internal information employees are expected to absorb and address in a major financial company.

But things did not exactly turn out this way, although he loves every single day in his new office environment on Bredgade in Copenhagen, Denmark. From here, the 59-year-old investment specialist runs his new consulting business, Copenhagen Allocation Partner (CAP), which he established in October 2018.
