Former chief portfolio manager at Danske Bank Asset Management Jens Moos has entered a new position as CEO of a fintech startup in Copenhagen.

Jens Moos left Danske Bank in January after a major reshuffle at Danske Bank's investment arm.

His new job is with Safepay, according to a post he made on Linkedin.

Safepay is a fintech payment program manager providing corporate clients with tailor-made payment solutions - for example, prepaid cards from Mastercard and VISA.

"I have started as CEO for Safepay and followed my ambition of joining a fintech startup. It is an amazing company with great opportunities. I look forward to bringing my financial background and leadership into play, grow the company further and learn along the way," the post states.

Jens Moos has worked in the financial industry for 21 years – first at Nykredit and later at Danske Bank Asset Management for 13 years. He holds a master's degree in mathematics and economics from the University of Copenhagen, which he completed in 1998.
