Nasdaq Executive VP has returned from New York but continues his busy life on the road

Danish Bjørn Sibbern is responsible for all European activities of US stock exchange group Nasdaq and not least its technology center in Stockholm, which employs more than 1,000 people. He ensures life balance by working around the clock four days of the week in Stockholm and compensating with more tranquility in Copenhagen on the last three.

Best coffee of the week. A cortado and a double espresso are on the menu when Bjørn Sibbern takes his seat in Copenhagen Airport’s SAS lounge before the first Stockholm-bound flight of the week takes off at 6:15.

Since June when he became responsible for all Nasdaq’s activities in Europe, he has split his week between four days in Stockholm from Monday morning to Thursday night and three days in Denmark over the weekend.
