CIP snags Ørsted's head of asset management

Ørsted's now former head of asset management, who spent ten years with the utility, will now play a key role in Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners' new investment strategy for emerging markets, where Chinese offshore wind is also a possibility.

When Copenhagen Infrastructure Parters launches its coming New Markets Fund and ventures into countries outside the OECD, it will be accompanied by one the most experienced asset managers in the offshore wind business. CIP has hired Robert Helms, who has served as Ørsted's head of asset management throughout the last five years, Helms informs in a LinkedIn post.
