Snoop Dogg backs Swedish fintech unicorn

Sweden's largest fintech startup, Stockholm-based Klarna, is growing even stronger with the backing of US rap legend Snoop Dogg -- financially as well as on YouTube.

Calvin Broadus, also known as Snoop Dogg -- and now Smooth Dogg is backing Klarna financially through his venture firm, Casa Verde Capital.

Swedish fintech unicorn, Klarna, known for its slogan obout Smooth Payments, is entering into a cooperation with world-renowned rapper and music legend Calvin Broadus -- also known as Snoop Dogg.

Klarna -- classed as a "unicorn" because it is a privately-held startup worth more than USD 1 billion -- offers payment services for 60 million consumers across 100,000 merchants in 14 countries. Klarna offers direct payments, pay-after-delivery options and installment plans which let consumers pay when and how they prefer.
