"I don't put much stock in career planning"

Career path: For Anne Buchardt, Nordic head of personal advice at Nordea Wealth management, it wasn't a specific career goal to work in the financial industry. But a general interest in society led her to study economics. And that interest is for her important to attaining success in her current job.

What career path did you envision for yourself when you were younger?

"After high school I was mainly motivated by a great interest in society as such. Social studies was my favorite subject, and I wanted to better understand how society worked, and how I could make a difference. I considered becoming a journalist, a politician or an economist, and ended up choosing the latter."
