"My childhood dream was to be a bank manager in Switzerland"

Once upon a time, a job as a Swiss bank manager sounded exciting to AP Pension's Ralf Magnussen. And now, as CIO of a financial insitution, perhaps reality hasn’t strayed all that far from the now 44-year-old's childhood dream.

What career path did you envision for yourself when you were younger?

"When I was a child, I wanted to be a bank manager in Switzerland – I think it sounded a bit exotic to me. Apart from that I've always been interested in social conditions, so working with finance and investments, as I do today, was a natural choice."
