Danish pension funds invest in Texan wind farm

Pension companies PKA and Pensam are investing DKK 1.2 billion in a US wind farm set to feature Vestas turbines.

Two Danish pension companies, PKA and Pensam, are investing DKK 1.2 billion through their joint investment platform, AIP Mangement, in Texas' Escalade wind farm, which will deploy Vestas' Enventus model turbines.

"Climate challenges are just as urgent as they were before the corona crisis began. We must maintain our goals (...) and continue to invest in green energy. We are thus pleased to once again expand our broad collection of climate investments," writes PKA Chief Executive Jon Johnsen in a press release.
