Swedish government ready to ease investment regulations for AP funds

A series of new legal changes are supposed to give the state pension buffer funds in Sweden better conditions for investments.

The Swedish government has submitted a bill to parliament with proposals for further amendments to investment regulations for the four state pension buffer funds -- AP1, AP2, AP3 and AP4, according to investors' news site

The legislative changes should come into force from 1. May 2020. All political parties behind the current pension agreement support the bill.
