AP Pension builds alternative investments division

In four years, the Danish pension fund has tripled its investment team and now alternative investment becomes a separate division headed by an internal candidate.

AP Pension is going to build a separate alternative investments team of four managed by Anders Bang, 44, who has been recruited internally from AP Pension's investment unit.

Bang joined AP Pension in 2016 when he left his position at Pensionddanmark where he had spent seven years primarily managing private equity investments.
