Advisor Världen banned from Premium Pension marketplace for sales tactics

The Pensions Authority has removed the fund company Advisor Världen from the registered providers in the PPM’s marketplace, and ordered it to sell the SEK 4.5 billion (EUR 455 million) of pension assets it has on behalf of over 43,000 pensioners.

Another pension provider operating within Sweden’s first pillar Premium Pension System (PPM) has fallen foul of the government agency overseeing the PPM marketplace — which includes more than 800 firms registered to offer funds.

The PPM is the funded portion of the Swedish state pension which allows people to choose their own investment provider for part of their pension contributions.
