Formuepleje open to changing lucrative fee

The Danish fund manager is now open to changing its cost structure, which brings in a large sum every year, due to new guidelines from the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) on charging performance fees and a related new guideline from the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority.

Fund manager Formuepleje is now indicating a willingness to make adjustments to its much-discussed and highly lucrative business model for the first time.

Managing director Søren Astrup confirms to AMWatch's Danish sister media, FinansWatch, that Formuepleje is in the process of examining whether, and if so how, to devise a new cost structure.
