BlackRock appoints Hyldahl as sole head of Continental Europe

Christian Hyldahl's co-head of Continental Europe has been promoted to a newly created role, and Hyldahl will now take sole responsibility for the position.

BlackRock is taking further steps towards sustainability. This leads to some promotions, including Christian Hyldahl, who is to take sole responsibility of Continental Europe, BlackRock's Head of EMEA, Stephen Cohen, announces in a letter to clients.

In January 2020, the USD 9trn (EUR 7.6trn) asset manager hired Paul Bodnar as Global Head of BlackRock Sustainable Investing, technology acquisitions in risk and data analytics to build out Aladdin Climate and launch a number of investment products.
