Bankinvest one of 14 new signatories to Net Zero Asset Managers initiative

Bankinvest is joining the Net Zero Asset Managers initiative to reach net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. The signature comes as the DKK 115bn Danish asset manager launches its third Nordic Swan Ecolabelled fund.

On Tuesday evening, Danish asset manager Bankinvest and 13 other new signatories joined the Net Zero Asset Managers initiative, committing to reach net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050 or sooner and setting interim targets for 2030.

The alliance was launched in December 2020 with 30 signatories and has now grown to include 87 signatories with nearly USD 37trn in assets under management, representing almost 40 percent of the total assets under management across the globe.
