New major fund aims to accelerate decarbonizing startups

The world's biggest asset manager has teamed up with a Singapore-based investment group to launch a new major incubation fund for CO2-reducing startups and technologies.


US-based asset manager Blackrock has joined forces with Singaporean investment company Temasek to form a new fund for investing in startups providing solutions and technologies for global decarbonization.

The couple has initially committed to seed the new fund with USD 600m, the companies write in a joint press statement.
