Vestas buys stake in CIP

The Danish wind turbine manufacturer has purchased a 25-percent position in Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners.

With an investment worth EUR 500 million, Vestas has purchased a 25-percent equity interest in Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP).

EUR 180 million will be transferred immediately, while the remaining EUR 320 million will be settled via a so-called earn out arrangement.
