Fund manager: "We're being treated unfairly by Morningstar"

Anders Lund, CEO and portfolio manager at BLS Capital, criticizes Morningstar for using a misleading benchmark, indicating that the Danish-based boutique asset manager's funds are underperforming. "Our investors are happy and satisfied," Lund claims.

On a ten-year basis, BLS Capital's global equity fund is the best performing among Danish fund managers. But according to a comparison by financial research firm Morningstar, the fund has been lacking behind its peers in recent years.

"I think we are being treated unfairly by Morningstar," Anders Lund, CEO and portfolio manager at BLS Capital, told AMWatch's sister media FinansWatch in an interview last week.
