Nordea's AUM at a record level after highest net inflow in four years

In the third quarter, the largest asset manager in the Nordics saw the highest net inflow in four years. Along with positive returns, this brings AUM above the year-end 2019 for the first time in 2020.

Nordea increased its assets under management by EUR 14.8bn to EUR 326,2bn for the first time this year, bringing the AUM above EUR 324.7bn from year-end 2019.

"Investment performance increased AUM by EUR 10.2bn, and net flows in the quarter were positive, totaling EUR 4.6bn. This was the highest quarterly net flow since the third quarter of 2016," Nordea writes in its Q3 report released Friday.
