Hines Nordic executive: We will never compromise on quality and location

US titan Hines 'eats' from all asset classes within real estate, but it's a picky buyer. In spite of its massive wallet, the real estate investor is happy waiting for the right investment. The acquisition of the two iconic silos in northern Copenhagen is a good example of what's being sought after, the Nordic Senior Managing Director tells EjendomsWatch.

It took two and-a-half years from the US investor Hines' first acquisition in Denmark to the second one. After this, the third investment came along much faster – just six months after the second one.

Now, Hines has closed a somewhat grandiose deal in Denmark with the acquisition of the two iconic office silos known as Portland Towers that are located in northern Copenhagen, by Nordhavn. The deal is in the DKK 700-750m area (USD 112-119m).
