Nordic Capital raised EUR 6.1bn for new fund without physical meetings
The private equity fund landed capital for its tenth and largest fund in record time during the corona pandemic: "Naturally, there are parts of the personal meeting that you miss, but virtual communication also saves a lot of time and reduces the CO2 footprint of traveling," says partner Fredrik Näslund.

Last week, Nordic Capital met its goal of raising capital for the fund Nordic Capital Fond X, with committed capital reaching EUR 6.1bn in capital.
The Danish Growth Fund has together with ATP, PKA, Jyske Bank and family offices raised EUR 200m (DKK 1.5bn) in the first closing of Dansk Vækstkapital III. The goal is total commitments of EUR 400m (DKK 3bn), to help the fund become a co-owner of up to 250 companies.
Not content with roiling a major oil company and sending shock waves through the market, Engine No. 1 is looking to kick start a mini-revolution in how trillions of dollars of passive cash engages with Corporate America.
