Investment firm posts mandate tender on social media to attract more managers

Copenhagen-based Spektrum uses Linkedin to draw attention to a new European direct lending mandate in a quest to provide clients like foundations, family offices and smaller insurance companies with portfolios similar to those of larger investors like pension funds.

Spektrum’s Linkedin connections might have noticed a post including a video stating that the firm is looking to commit EUR 100m to European Direct Lending.

Of course, this is to attract attention from clients, but the aim is also to reach unfamiliar managers.
