Swedish Investment Fund Association launches fund manager index

A new quarterly index - Förvaltarbarometern - developed by the Swedish Investment Fund Association aims to reflect fund managers' outlooks on the economy and financial markets. The first edition of the index shows a slightly positive outlook.

The Swedish Investment Fund Association has launched a new quarterly index reflecting the economic and market outlooks of Swedish fund companies.

An index of over 50 means that more respondents are positive than negative. In the first edition, the questions were answered by 17 fund companies between May 27 and June 5. The initial index gave a result of 57, which demonstrates a slightly positive outlook.
