Bank-owned asset managers dominate list of largest asset managers

26 of the 500 biggest asset managers in the world ranked by their AUM have roots in the Nordics.

Nordea, SEB and Swedbank Robur are the biggest asset managers in the Nordic region – with Danske Bank Asset Management in close pursuit, according to this year's list of the 500 largest asset managers in the world from newssite Ipe.com.

26 asset managers from the Nordic countries made it onto the list – six from Norway, six from Finland, seven from Denmark and eight from Sweden. Alfred Berg (ranked 360) is registered as Swedish and Norwegian.
