EQT chairman believes in optimistic economic scenario

Conni Jonsson, chairman of Swedish private markets investment firm EQT, expects a normalization of the economy during the fourth quarter of this year. "I believe in this scenario because I'm an optimistic person," he tells Dagens Industri.

Swedish venture capital company EQT has developed several scenarios to analyze the future of the economy, according to chairman of the board Conni Jonsson.

"The economy is a direct reflection of how the pandemic is developing. When you have ownership responsibility, you have to think through various scenarios for the consequences of the pandemic," he says in an interview with Swedish business daily Dagens Industri.
