EQT opens office down under

Swedish private equity firm EQT is opening a new office in Sydney, Australia, led by an EQT manager who has worked out of the Singapore office until now. The opening in Sydney means EQT is now present in 18 international locations outside Sweden.

Private equity firm EQT is preparing for further expansion in the Asia-Pacific region. The Swedish firm is opening a new office in Sydney, Australia. Currently, the EQT offices in the region are located in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Singapore.

The Sydney office will be led by Ken Wong, Managing Director and Head of EQT Australia & New Zealand. He has previously worked out of EQT’s Singapore office and will return to Sydney as part of EQT’s local-with-locals approach, according to a press release from EQT.
