Danish fund picks Nordea to manage green equity portfolio while searching for smart beta manager

Going forward Nordea will be in charge of environmental and climate-related investments totaling more than EUR 70m on behalf of LD Fonde from Denmark.

In the future Nordea Investment Management is going to manage sustainability-themed funds LD Fondene Miljø og Klima (environment and climate, edit.), which has EUR 73.6m in custody, LD writes in a press release.

”Nordea presents a strong team with many years' experience. We consider it a very positive development that Nordea strengthens the environment and climate change mitigation through active ownership," LD Fonde Chief Financial Officer Charlotte Mark says in the statement.
