Catella establishes hotel investment company

While the European hotel investment market continues to grow, those seeking to gain hotel exposure often lack in-house expertise, Catella says.

Catella Property Investment Management has founded a new company Catella Hospitality Europe (CHE) in a partnership with financiers Pierre-Louis Bellanger, Rodolphe Frégé, and Maxime des Monstiers.

The company will assist investors in sourcing, structuring and managing tailored hotel investment opportunities and especially serve investors, who seek to gain hotel exposure but lack in-house expertise.

The European hotel investment market continues to grow thanks to excellent tourism fundamentals, Catella states. "Such positive dynamics have rallied real estate investors towards this attractive alternative asset class, which offers higher yields and solid returns," it adds.

According to Catella's press release, the new company will serve both Core and Value-Add investors with turnkey investments and asset management services. The scope of missions will range from stabilized assets monitoring up to turnaround including capex, rebranding and management optimizations.

Catella is listed on Nasdaq Stockholm in the mid-cap segment.
