Danish asset manager divests beach hotel in million dollar transaction

Artha Kapitalforvaltning has divested its half of beach hotel Marienlyst Strandhotel in Helsingor, Denmark, which the company purchased in 2017. Swedish investor, who has been known to invest in Copenhagen in the past, has also acquired co-owner's shares.

Asset manager Artha has sold its half of beach hotel Marienlyst Strandhotel to Swedish asset manager and hotel investor Midstar AB in a transaction worth more than EUR 67.1m for the hotel's total shares.

In a press statement, Artha reveals that the plan was always to sell the beach hotel but originally within a five-year timeframe.
