Nordnet launches Smart Portfolio in collaboration with J.P. Morgan as robot replaces fund managers and analysts

In a bid to lower costs in asset management, digital bank Nordnet wants to become a frontrunner in robotized fund management in Denmark. A automated fund from Nordnet eliminates the investment advisor as well as the portfolio manager.

The downward pressure on earnings forces asset managers to become increasingly efficient.

This has sparked attempts to replace active portfolio managers and equity analysts with robots. Danish business newsletter Økonomisk Ugebrev describes digital bank Nordnet as one of the robot frontrunners in the Danish asset management industry.
