Media: EQT going public in September

Unnamed sources have informed Danish business daily Børsen that the largest private equity firm in the Nordics, EQT is going public in September.

The largest private equity house in the Nordic region, EQT, which owns several European companies, is going to be listed in Stockholm come September 26, unnamed sources have informed Børsen.

Rumors of an imminent listing on a stock exchange have circled for some time - in April, the word on the street was that EQT had spoken to several major banks such as Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley, possibly to assist with the IPO.
