Bankinvest hungry for more real estate in Denmark

As a result of unexpectedly high demand, Danish asset manager Bankinvest is buying a new portfolio of commercial real estate in Denmark from pension fund PFA. But even with this new addition, the firm just cannot keep up with investors' appetite for the assets, its CIO tells AMWatch's sister site EjendomsWatch.

Asset manager Bankinvest is boosting its real estate activities and buying DKK 300 billion (EUR 40 billion) of commercial real estate from the pension fund PFA.

The partnership between PFA and Bankinvest was launched with a DKK 2 billion (EUR 270 million) commercial real estate deal in the spring of 2018.
