Finland’s Evli widens alternatives and PE fund range

A Finnish fund with a EUR 230 million portfolio of nursing and healthcare properties is to make its seventh and final call for capital at the end of February, the fund’s portfolio manager Petteri Nurminen says. Meanwhile the asset management firm behind the fund is boosting its alternative investment offerings.

Evli Fund Management has been expanding its investment activities in alternative and private equity, and one of its key funds — the Evli Healthcare fund — is making a further call for investment capital, the fund’s portfolio manager Petteri Nurminen tells AMWatch.

Launched in February last year, the Evli Healthcare fund invests in nursing and healthcare properties in Finland which provide services to their customers through private care companies.
